FAQ

What is wall printing?

Wall printing is the process of directly printing UV-curated high-resolution images onto walls using a vertical printer. In our case, we can print on floors too!

Compatible materials include:

Ceramic, wood, stone, metal, fabric, brick walls, glass, gypsum board / drywall, concrete, plastic, wallpaper, canvas, tile, plaster, leather products, and more. As long as the surface has sufficient adhesion, the UV ink will bond and cure properly. For smooth or non-porous surfaces with low adhesion (such as certain plastics or coated materials), a surface treatment or primer spray can be applied before printing to enhance ink adhesion and ensure long-lasting results.

We print using environmentally responsible, UV-cured inks that are odorless, fast-drying, and safe for indoor spaces such as homes, schools, nurseries, and healthcare facilities. The result is a durable, fade-resistant finish built to last. Additionally, the ink is scratch-resistant!

Our wall printer offers a printing speed of approximately 22 to 65 sq ft per hour, depending on the selected image quality and resolution settings.

In practice, a speed of around 22 to 32 sq ft per hour provides the best balance between efficiency and high-quality output.

Printed images are highly durable. Our wall printer use UV-curable ink, which is waterproof, fade-resistant, and long-lasting. On indoor surfaces, prints can last for 10-15 years or more without fading or peeling. On outdoor walls, lifespan depends on environmental conditions, but additional coating can be applied for protection.

We simply require a clean, flat, and dry surface and will advise if any additional preparation is needed.

Yes. We accept high-resolution artwork or photos and can advise on file format, resolution, and size suitability for printing. Ideally, the images should be with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

Yes, wall prints can be removed depending on the type of surface.

On glass, the print can be easily scraped off using a ceramic cooktop scraper or a razor blade.

On painted walls, you can simply paint over the print with two or three coats of regular wall paint.

On wood, removal usually requires light sanding.

For tougher surfaces like metal, brick, or concrete, methods such as sandblasting, cork blasting, dry ice blasting, or glass bead blasting are typically used.

We recommend booking 2 weeks in advance, especially for large murals or multi-wall prints. Nevertheless, we happily accommodate short-notice projects
